You can rent your pole for as long as you would like! Through Inverted Rentals you have two options, a monthly rental for $70/month or a 5 day rental for $25. If you are going to go over that amount of time, no worries, keep it as long as you want. The card you have loaded into PVR will be charged the same amount every time that billing cycle starts over.
